Anthony Francis “Tony” Perry, CCIM, passed away Jan. 10, 2020, in Manteno, Ill. He was 88 years old.
Operating his own commercial real estate business in Kankakee, Ill., an hour south of Chicago, Perry received the CCIM designation in 1973. His firm, Perry Group Ltd., developed residential subdivisions, shopping centers, and office buildings.
In 1982, Perry spearheaded the founding of the Area Jobs Development Association for Bradley, Bourbonnais, and Kankakee, which aimed to attract investment in the area from commerce and industry. Throughout the years, he also remained active in the local CCIM chapter.
