The MTA staff will give us a presentation on this amazing transformative project and the escort us 100 feet below Grand Central to the two caverns, each of which is the size of the Chrysler Building!
This project will greatly improve the commute for the Long Island residents who work in Midtown. Their commute time will be reduced up to 40 minutes a day!
The trip from Grand Central to JFK Airport will be reduced to 40 minutes!
Sturdy attire is required!
IMPORTANT!
This is an active construction site!
Wear sturdy attire (no dresses) that may get dirty.
Treaded boots going above the ankle are required.
Participants must be able to ascend and descend 15 flights of stairs (150 foot descent)
Participants must provide identification prior to event for security screening.
