During that time, he consulted for more than 30 of the 100 Leading National Advertisers. He was the co-author of two widely used market research books and after earning his Ph.D. in Business Administration at Baruch College (City University of New York), he continued teaching there as an adjunct faculty.

Dear CCIM Members,

It is with great sadness that CCIM Institute shares the news of past CCIM Institute President Wayne D’Amico, CCIM, passing away on November 4. The Board of Directors was fortunate to share with him a book of handwritten thoughts immediately following the Institute’s annual meetings in Toronto last month.

Wayne began his career as a commercial broker in 1989 and continuously honed his skills and education until becoming designated CCIM #6198 in June 1996. In 2002, he was elected to the CCIM Board of Directors. In 2011, he became CCIM Institute First Vice President, and subsequently became 2013 CCIM Institute President. As president, Wayne was an integral part of the negotiations to partner with Xceligent and ESRI. He later joined Xceligent in May 2016 as executive vice president of corporate development and strategic relations. Wayne’s contributions and presence will live on at the Institute many years beyond his passing.
