HOW TO BE A LEADER IN THE MIDDLE OF A TOUGH TRANSACTION

All CRE transactions require leadership to get them closed. Effective leaders weather the many storms in order to complete the deal. This month we examine how Crisis Management crosses over to help get your deals done!

Difficult situations and deals flow through a cycle of disruption, direction, emotion and focus.

What you will learn:
  • Identifying when you're facing each phase (Disruption, Direction, Emotion or Focus) in the deal cycle.
  • Identifying when key moments naturally open themselves to leadership in the transaction.
  • How the story arc of hero, mentor and conflict allow you to create a defined role and position in the deal.

Key takeaways:
  • Understand what is actually happening when the chaos starts and why clarity always rules.
  • Understand the 10-80-10 rule and why it provides the precise opportunity for leadership.
  • Understand how personality impacts dealing with communicating in tough situations and why you want to address each personality in the room.
