Event Description
CCIM Speaker Series Luncheon - Sound Transit Expansion: Opportunities for Transit Oriented Growth
When:
Nov 9, 2022 from 11:30 AM to 01:00 PM (PT)
Associated with
CCIM Washington State Chapter
Join CCIM-WA on November 9th
- with special guest speaker,
Mara D'Angelo
,
Manager, Sound Transit Oriented Development, Sound Transit
When it is no longer needed to support construction, Sound Transit offers excess public property for redevelopment near its stops and stations. The agency has a near-term pipeline of properties that they expect could site between 1,500 -2,500 new housing units - a significant portion of which will be affordable housing units - as well as commercial space.
Mara will share information on how Sound Transit’s transit-oriented development team prepares and offers these properties, what properties are coming up next, and the best ways to track Sound Transit’s progress and opportunities.
