2018 President's Cup Submission Form
The Chapter Activities Subcommittee, responsible for the President's Cup Awards Program, presents the 2018 Annual Activity Report and president's Cup Award Submission form. This form includes two sections:
Annual Activity Report - Mandatory for all chapters
The Annual activity report lists the tasks needed to meet the minimum compliance requirements to maintain a chapter. Each Chapter is responsible for completing the mandatory Annual activity report per Article 2, Section 3 of the Chapter bylaws. A Chapter's charter may be revoked if the chapter is found to be in violation of the terms. This report was developed by the Regional Activities Subcommittee to verify annual compliance by CCIM Chapters with minimum standards.
President's Cup Submission - Optional
The President’s cup was designed to provide chapters with an opportunity to showcase their individual exemplary best practices above the minimum standard. All Chapters are encouraged to complete this section.
Chapters that complete both the Annual Activity Report and the President's Cup Submission will be recognized as a Chapter of Excellence and acknowledged at the 2019 CCIM Mid-Year Meetings. This workbook should be used as a roadmap for what your chapter needs to accomplish to ensure the highest level of benefits are received by your members.

2018 Designation Promotion Grant Program
The 2018 Designation Promotion Grant Program is your chance to leverage national funds to raise awareness about the CCIM designation and designees on Main Street, or wherever your potential clients do business.
New this year: CCIM Chapters have the option to contribute to a discounted national advertising buy from The American City Business Journals online publications. In 2017, CCIM Institute conducted a survey and found that these local business journals provided the best channel to raise awareness of CCIM designees among your potential clients and customers in the 40-plus local markets served by ACBJ. Chapters can opt to use their funds to increase the frequency and reach of a new designation promotion campaign, which will come at no cost for the chapter. The ad campaign is scheduled to run Feb. 2018 - Oct. 2018. You can review a list of local markets with ACBJ publications here: advertise.bizjournals.com/local-market-info. Silva Brand and the CCIM Marketing Team will be designing the advertisements specifically to raise awareness of CCIMs within each local market.
But we understand that this option might not be appropriate for all chapters. Chapters are also welcome to apply for matching or grant funds for their own project.
To qualify for funding, your project must meet at least one of the following criteria:
- Promotes the CCIM pin/designation as the global standard for professional achievement
- Promotes CCIM designees as the local market experts
We encourage you to consider unusual projects that might be more memorable than a one-time advertising placement. How can you gain your market’s attention? While evaluating project ideas, consider these questions:
- Will the project reach an important audience that’s mostly unfamiliar with the CCIM brand?
- Can the project’s reach be expanded through video or other content marketing?
- Can you look to companies or other organizations in your market for inspiration or additional support?
Requests for both matching funds and grants will be considered, though grant requests will require additional information (see application).
The initial round of applications will be accepted from Dec. 15, 2017 – Feb. 1, 2018. The review team — made up of CCIM volunteers — will review all fully completed applications within two weeks of submission. Chapters and districts will have another chance to apply April 1 – July 1, 2018. The current max. funding amount per chapter is $2,500.
