CI 103: USER DECISION ANALYSIS For Commercial Investment Real Estate   

 In CI 103, students evaluate and compare lease proposals from a user perspective. After completing this course, students will be able to:

  • Apply key occupancy decision-making skills such as comparative lease analysis, lease versus purchase analysis, lease buyout analysis, and sale-leaseback analysis to optimize user space decisions
  • Determine how financial reporting requirements for real estate influences user decisions
  • Integrate negotiation skills with financial analysis skills to maximize user outcomes

Course Prerequisites: CI 101 Financial Analysis for Commercial Investment Real Estate and Preparing to Negotiate (online) or Commercial Real Estate Negotiations (classroom)

Course Credits: 32 Oregon / 32 Washington CE Credits Available

Technology Notes: Laptop computer required (tablet not recommended). PC: Excel 2008 or higher required. MAC: MS Office or Macs versions 2004 or 2011 required.
