Ralph Spencer, CCIM, passed away on Thursday, June 6, 2019. Ralph served as an instructor for the Institute for almost four decades and contributed immensely to the CCIM education program. Ralph was an early recipient of the Victor L. Lyon award, the highest recognition given to instructors, and most recently earned the status of Senior Emeritus.

He is survived by his wife of 49 years, Diane Salmon Spencer; two sons, Brandon Boward Spencer and Trevor Thurston Spencer (Shilpa); two sisters, LaVerne McElwee (Tom) and LaDelle Hobson (Lewis); grandchildren, Dean, Max, Meera and Charlotte; brothers-in-law, Chuck Salmon (Carolyn) and Ted Salmon (Debbie); and a host of extended family and friends. Ralph enjoyed skiing, sailing, practicing and playing golf and spending time with family.
