Scholarship Applications

Scholarship applications are available below. Note each scholarship's purpose and select the one most applicable to your goals. Please read the instructions and criteria carefully before submitting.

Professional Designation Scholarship

The Professional Designation Scholarship is available to all MAAR members. Applicants must be in good standing with MAAR and with their brokerage.  The selected applicant(s) will receive a $300 scholarship credit to fund the tuition of the designation course(s) of their choice.

Ann Bell Memorial Scholarship

Ann Bell was a long-time Affiliate member of MAAR and Memphis Mortgage Bankers Association. Ann had a love for her career and for REALTORS® and was a MAAR Education Foundation Trustee. She had a passion for helping customers along their path to securing a mortgage and dedicated over 30 years to the mortgage industry.

The Ann Bell Memorial Scholarship is named in her honor and is available to non-REALTOR® Affiliate members in good standing with MAAR.  The selected applicant(s) will receive a $300 scholarship credit for use towards a continuing education course or professional development course related to the recipient's industry.

Lester Hubbard Memorial Scholarship

Lester Hubbard was an advocate for Fair Housing and a champion for homeownership. He worked tirelessly to help disadvantaged minorities achieve the American Dream. Lester always encouraged members of his team to continue learning and get designations.

The Lester Hubbard Memorial Scholarship is named in his honor. It is available to Affiliate REALTOR® members who are active in their community through community service and who wish to get their broker license.

This scholarship will assist members with the Broker Management Course, the Broker Exam Crash Course and one (1) designation of their choosing.
