Steve Rich began his real estate career in 1997 after obtaining a B.S. in Architectural-Engineering with an emphasis in Construction Management from The University of Kansas and spending seven years in hospitality and construction management. Steve's expertise includes land acquisition, build-to-suit developments, investment properties, retail developments and commercial brokerage for both the private and public sector. Dating back to 1997, Steve has successfully represented his clients in close to a billion dollars in commercial acquisitions & sales, leases and build-to-suit developments. Steve has also consulted with several city agencies resulting in over 22 million dollars in federal funds to assist with the development of urban shopping centers and public housing. He is a licensed broker in North Carolina, South Carolina, Georgia & Tennessee. Steve is a Certified Commercial Investment Member (CCIM), Past President of the NC-CCIM Chapter (2012), Past CCIM Regional 9 Vice President (NC, SC, GA & AL Chapters), CCIM Institute Finance Committee Member, Institute Governance Committee, National Board of Director for the CCIM Institute and a Board of Director for the Charlotte Region Commercial Board of Realtors (CRCBR). He is a member of the International Council of Shopping Centers (ICSC) and Urban Land Institute (ULI). In his free time, Steve enjoys golf, travel and time spent with his family.
