Lydia Bennett, CCIM, CPM, has practiced commercial real estate for her entire career. Her private sector experience includes working for a regional developer, for an office developer, and as owner of a full-service commercial real estate firm. She also worked in the public sector for a port authority as their director of real estate as well as on the strategic planning and development team for the adaptive reuse of a 220-acre waterfront brownfield site. Today, Lydia works with numerous clients providing development advisory and consulting, brokerage, and site selection services.
Lydia was a finalist for Businesswoman of the Year (2003) and was recognized as a business “Mover and Shaker” (2005). More recently, she was named by Seattle Bisnow as one of the top Seattle Power Women in the commercial real estate industry (2016).
She teaches nationally and internationally for the CCIM Institute and was named "101 Instructor of the Year" (2023), and facilitates corporate CRE education for the C21 Commercial Investment Network. She is a Director for the CCIM Institute, on the Board of the Western Washington University (CBE) College of Business and Economics, where she is also a guest lecturer on leadership and commercial real estate practices and analysis.
